We had a great holiday weekend with Nanamma, Tata, and Hima Aunty. They drove here from Fort Worth on Friday and spent the weekend with us. Kiran had fun playing trains with Nanamma and he loved being spoiled with chocolate treats and movies. Of course he took lots of selfies to document the fun! Tata pushed him really high on the swings at Clay Ground and he also kept Kiran entertained with some goods books. Hima Aunty practiced her face painting techniques and carefully painted Spencer the train on Kiran's cheek. She did a great job and Kiran was really excited!
Priya loved all the time with her Texas family … she was chatty and all smiles as soon as she met them. She wore a cute pink headband in her hair … at least for a few minutes!

We were reminiscing last night about our home buying process … and we remembered that we were "under contract" this time last year … memorial day was part of our 10 day inspection period! We had a trip to DFW planned, but ended up canceling because of inspections. So, its extra special that we got to spend this Memorial Day weekend together in the "new" house :)
