Things are coming together for our move to New Orleans. Ram found us a great house to rent in the Lower Garden District. We will have a 10 minute drive to Loyola and Tulane and we will also have the option of taking the streetcar or bus to work. It should be a nice neighborhood to plant ourselves in. We can walk downtown to the farmers market and stroll right out our front door into a little triangle shaped park. The house is a duplex, with 4 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. We are excited about having the extra space for guests and hope to have lots of visitors in the coming months. The house is over 100 years old and has lots of nice details like hardwood floors, fireplaces, porches, and high ceilings. But with that age, comes some wear and tear and the need for a little elbow grease. New Orleans has so many amazing houses and we are excited about the new place we will be calling home soon!
