Kiran moved up to the toddler room at daycare a couple of weeks ago. The first couple of days were a little rocky and there were some tears (from Kiran and Mommy). But he transitioned really well and he is enjoying the new activities! He is the youngest toddler in the room and he is soaking up so much from the older kids. He loves sitting at the little table and eating with his friends. He is eating like a champ, gobbling down most of his lunch and snacks during the day. He loves playing with the cars and trucks in his new room. On Tuesdays and Thursdays the center has "water day" and the kids go outside in their swim gear to splash around at the water tables. Kiran loves playing in the water. He has been napping great with all these extra activities. I am happy that he has settled in so well. There are no more tears in the morning when we drop him off. When we pick him up in the afternoon, he brings us his favorite toys and doesn't seem anxious to leave.
